El Señor de los Anillos, Batalla por la Tierra Media II te traslada al corazón de la Tierra Media para revivir los combates que aparecen en las exitosas películas de la productora New Line Cinema y en los clásicos de ficción literaria de J.R.R. Tolkien. Este juego presenta un nuevo e intuitivo sistema de control específico para consolas que permite a los principiantes disfrutar de la acción de estrategia característica del juego, además de proporcionar a los expertos la flexibilidad necesaria para tomar parte en una experiencia táctica sumamente compleja. Controla directamente cientos de unidades para tratar de vencer a los ejércitos enemigos, conquistar nuevos territorios y decidir el destino de la Tierra Media.
